Thanks guys for all the kind comments. To answer your questions, I hope to run the Qual at the Golden National this year with Slater and his daddy Fisher (who is a breed champion and has run three quals already). Yes, a new bandana would be appropriate especially if it is Gator orange and blue. Slater is 22 3/4" tall and about 68 lbs. Slater HATES pheasants which I hear they use at the MN so no, we won't be going!

Congrats, and like others have said, he is a good looking Golden, but how can he hate pheasants? From my experience, Goldens love pheasants. My dogs do a lot of pheasant hunting which might give them a leg up on those rare trials that throw pheasants in liew of ducks.Quote:
