receding gums

hi i have a 5 year old BLF who just developed receding gums only on her upper K9s. is this common? i have not seen this before. any comments welcome

take her in for an exam and cleaning if needed. Something to consider because the vet may/should ask: what are you feeding, including treats, do you brush your dog's teeth and if so how often, do you give her chew toys/treats/rawhides/etc.., does she chew on the kennel fence or "fence fight" with other dogs.

the only thing she will chew on lately is a stick when i aire, strange she never did that until about a month ago. i feed victor dry and no treats.
