If there is one thing that I think was a real help to me, was the Hillman DVD and "Traffic Cop".
It gets the PUPPY use to sitting before the retrieve..ANNND motivates that crazy to retrieve...

Make sure to praise when the dog does what he was corrected for ,,,,, right..

Keep attitude UP!!!! Good praise when they do it correctly.

Keep sessions short,, but EVERYDAY..

I will say though, I ended up picking that dog "Jet" as the clear winner, before the judges made their decisions. I was right!
