Sorry for your loss
I pick the pedigree then decide if male or female then it's a crap shoot from there.
I feed pro plan sport to my Chesapeakes they do great
I feed once a day starting around 6 to 8 months depending on the dog. Always feed about 1 hour after working in the evening
I say run the Q. As long as you are eligible to run. Who cares what other people think as long as you and your dog are having fun that is that matters. Dogs don't care about the ribbons all they want...
Sounds like she is teething. I would work on obedience until she is done teething I would also start a program. What area do you live in? I would get with a local retriever club.
To the op it's sounds like you like to complain about anything that doesn't go your way. If you ever decide to run another test if it's not going the way you would like it to why not ask the club...
When ever I have a litter of chess pups the females are the first to go
I use a plastic fence post and spray paint it with florescent orange paint
I've watched Eddie run dogs at hunt test the last 4 years he does an excellent job.
Congratulations Bill and Judy
When I am judging I don't like the handler kneeling or standing over the dog to me it looks like the handler is trying to intimate the dog. I like the handler either on a bucket or standing normal....
Congratulations fantastic accomplishment
I would go with #2. No injuries and e.i.c. clear and he hunts the dog and still has good line manners. If he compliments your female that is the dog I would choose.
I feed my pups 2 X a day until a year then 1x a day no problems
He looks like he's doing a good job

Sorry for your loss. Remember the good time. Hope you find out what happened.
I agree with Steve get rid of the master national. After a master hunter title step up to field trials if you want a challenge.
I was feeding Victor but my dogs coats seem to get dull. I liked nutrisource dog food but was hard to get. I feed pro plan now. All the dogs like it and are doing good on it.
From what I have seen and heard from several different retriever clubs they are loosing members and workers because they can't get their dogs entered in their own club test. I have missed out on my...
Sharon now that's funny
Danny is a good choice. He is an excellent trainer. You should contact the Tulsa Retriever Club. They have some great people in it.they are looking to grow their membership to put on more hunt test...
Peter , the tulsa retriever club is always looking for new members. If the club could grow it would have more double test. Maybe you and some friends could join and help out.
