With my dog, if the bird moves, he will start flagging (wagging his tail) and I will release him with an easy command he will start tracking or quartering depending how far the bird ran.

Very cool!!! With a pup showing that much natural point would be fun to work with and might get you hunting more upland. Great looking dog!
