My old friend.
Just a lucky shot with my phone and PS vignetting.
My thoughts exactly, on all points.
Well, first off I do judge; not because I particularly like to, but because I believe ... just as you suggest ... in doing my share. Most of my assignments are to do a favor for a friend who needs a...
Does anyone know of a sport today, where the governing body does LESS to educate and qualify their "officials" (referees, umpires, judges ...)?
It is a profound disappointment in humankind that some will so staunchly DEFEND their RIGHT to be hateful, spiteful and mean-spirited. And further, to do so in the name of a God.
Even if one has...
Same story I've heard over and over. :)
If you've had something for nine years and still can't figure it out, it's time to try something else. (It's not you) ;-) Just sayin'.
I have trained with a number of guys who have bumper boys and can not begin to recount the innumerable malfunctions that have occurred. You name it; it has happened. I do not like to dis someone...
Well, somebody did!! :D
So here is the original post. What is confusing?
The way I understand the system to work, someone called the club sec the next morning and scratched four dogs. No?
Not necessarily true. See post #31 of the original sticky posted by David D. The wait list is no longer active after the close.
If someone scratches through the club at 12:01 AM (on a midnight...
That's what I'm sayin'. ;-)
And it won't be back filled. Until AKC changes their rules.
Well, I confess to not having watched the entire dialogue on this ... I think most of it is hearsay ... but it seems like that's the way David spelled it out when he originally announced the proposed...
It's my understanding, if dogs were scratched from these tests AFTER the close, they would NOT be back filled from the wait list per AKC rule.
If that's what you're looking for, it's similar to what an autism dog does. The dog is tethered to the kid. When the kid bolts to run away (common for some autistic kids to do) the dog is trained to...
I believe the CLUBs may still choose to take entries through the old paper mail-in system, can they not?
It's the CLUBs' choice, isn't it?
Also, regarding the $25 scratch/withdrawal fee,...
Ken, we will surely miss your unique humor and your great stories here on RTF.
The perspective changes radically when you're layin' on a gurney. Ask Hugh!
Or if you're looking for a shorter throw, you could just fashion yourself a short bungie with an S-hook on each end and hook it between your winger rubber bands and the hooks. Need to do some...
Just watch 'em in the litter. What does Mom do when she gets tired of puppy's shenanigans?
There are other pieces of this puzzle that no one is talking about.
Under the new system, all tests will open about 3 1/2 weeks ahead of the start date. I will bet there will be far fewer...
I wonder if some of these glitches are due to dogs entered in tests in which the "3 week/Wednesday" official opening date has not yet arrived, and the program has no way to sort that out?
An FYI. May or may not be an issue.
I have entered two tests, one limited and one not. I entered from my home computer. I am on the road now and, using my phone, I see my dogs listed under "view...
Swampy, even though you talk out of BOTH sides of your mouth, you can't say enough to make since. :p
Don't recall who made this post.
