Why not crate train her when you cant watch her.....and house train her the rest of the time?
Mike Lardy for his seminar & video's I've seen, but mostly Bruce & Wayne Curtis!
Without their help I would have not known what to do with many situations!
Awesome! Congrats!
So sorry to hear - you will always have the great memories.
Phenomenal is all I have to say!
Howard, I just feel it is not needed and would open up to a whole new set of issues! I feel triples will also lead into more technical or trained response than natural marking.
No triples needed in the derby for sure! If that would become typical I would quit running them.....
Yeah, 10 year break from the game for me....right around year 2000. Couldn't make an FC back then and it seems even tougher now! Almost impossible without a very good dog & a good pro unless you are...
And possibly a tougher question......how many amateurs who work full time have trained their own FC's or AFC's in last 5 years? Seems to me it has gotten even tougher recently!
Excellent! Would also like to hear more details of photos, how they were taken & where.
Nice pup! How old is he?
I also had a 10 year break and am now back with two also....oldest is 3 and the youngest will be running derby this year!
I guess I could also see a dog swimming down to the end of the pond on the long retired memory bird.
I first tried soaking in warm water but saw no immediate change. Finally left upstairs in warm room for almost two days!
Update: It took a lot longer than I would have figured - so much for being an engineer! Unipaks are back to liquid again so all appears well.
Apparently from being stored in a 65 degree basement...
I do not force fetch before adult teeth. I have more than once "nicked" on here with collar prior to force fetch. I do not consider this to be collar conditioning as prescribed in many programs.
Brought them upstairs and soaked them in warm water.........no change.
I get what you are saying but not sure that is the case. Basement is finished and 65 degrees.....Will bring them upstairs where a little warmer to see what happens. Thanks!
Doesn't force fetch "teach" them to turn off pressure? They can learn this concept and then follow up with collar conditioning.
Not doubting Bobby's success or training methods in any way.....maybe one of those things where you need to see or discuss with him to get clarity on when & how it is used. I am all for letting a dog...
Interesting thought but not sure I would want to let my dog run around the field & "self discover"..
I just looked at my Unipak pads that are in storage now in basement. The gel is "hard" on many of the bladder sections. Any ideas why this happened? These are not cheap and were only used about a...
I would FF first
Great shot! Mind sharing the lens used & shutter speed?
One of my early encounters with Sig was when I wanted to breed my bitch to an FC he owned at the time - Sasseville Toro. Drove from north of Milwaukee to Sig's house near Madison, Wi. Couldn't get...
My coolant is orange.
