If you look at the blog and the test diagram (not the still photo)...this test looks like it was originally set to be a quad! I can only imagine what this would've been like had they thrown another...
in the blog from today, if you look at the pix of FC-AFC Sureshot’s Texas Hold’em (Dealer), LM, Marv Baumer......look in the background at who I assume is Al Wilson (one of the judges)...if it...
Chad- you going? I'll be there middle of next week for a day or two.
Big Congrats to Team Dynamic, dogs and owners! Willies derby second puts him 1 pt shy of the Derby list! Willie's run 19 derbies and finished 15 of them!!
Here's a good glossary to go over that Chris or someone else put up years ago:

As the temps start to climb that can only mean one thing.....the constant buzz from mosquitos. Our club grounds hold a lot of water so it becomes a prime spot for mosquitos and can make training...
I just hope that if the pro made a protest at the expense of my dog that he'd at least find the decency to not charge me for a handlers fee AND to take my entry fee for the dog off my next months...
That's how we'd start out as well. Let the dog come back in from picking up the first or second mark, line him/her up at the retired gun who has yet to retire....and then either instruct the gunner...
I always think I'm being a little elitist when I correct people for that one to...but it's my pet peeve as well. And nice signature!! :-)
There's all sorts of subtle little tricks that handlers try to get away with in this scenario I'm sure...but I'm curious how as a judge this would be scored IF noticed....
Training last weekend on...
Awesome job Wayne!! Congratulations to you and Bailey!!!
Your lucky that you can still use yours though as our clicker is so intimidating that the dog just ate half of it!!!
it's a flyer...their landing spots are unpredictable and judges do/should take that into consideration when judging flyers. A ribbon left in the field is actually something I try to avoid as a judge...
I think you have to be a little careful Cindy on just what your trying to accomplish (as Harry mentions). Are you trying to test your dog...or train the dog? I see some really nice three peat water...
Denver- I was talking to a buddy while watching yesterday and we discussed that if the MOB were to sponsor a golfer...it'd be Cabrera! For some reason he looks like the type of guy who if you...
I run 2 Lynch Mobs (Goose Noose and the Slipknot Hybrid). Both I think are excellent IMO and gives you the ability to get loud and quiet not to mention produce all the sounds you need. Personally...
Congratulations to Dr. Ed and Holland and also Lauren and Slider! But also big congrats to Tim Springer and Willie (and Troy/Niki Tilleraas owners) for the derby blue!! Willie has jam'ed about...
Happy- I'm not saying that you diminish the importance of a junior stake, but I don't believe you "cater" to it either. As a club (IMO) you strive to put on stakes at all levels that are good tests...
I judged a junior last year where we used a flier in conjunction with the land marks, and then were offered a flier on water, but due to the water we were given plus wind direction it just didn't...
My two are inside during the winter and will go outside when it finally warms up...assuming it does warm up! One thing I can say is if your dogs are inside.....say good bye to your nice hardwood...
Kevin- while I can't talk about the Lake Country RC or Southern Minny (I know there's good people in both, I'm just not familiar with their training days etc..), in looking at where your located and...
Awesome news!!! Big Congrats to Ann and Bob!!!!!!!!!
It pains me to just read that post!!! To have had a stick with all the greats autographs on it and to use it is one thing..but to then break it and still not have it enshrined somewhere while held...
I remember going to games at the old Met Center when the North Stars were still in Minnesota and listening to the crowd chanting..."Secord sucks...." Good times.....
But they're on a roll right...
full results now up on EE....Congratulations to Tim Springer/Lauren Haynes for the second and JAM in the derby handling littermates Dyna and Willie!!!!!
