Update: The dog bed has been in the garage for 3 days, I moved it to the living room yesterday evening to give the pup a place to nap while I am cooking or watching TV. Within 2 days of removing the...
I had a feeling.
My golden female was about 53 lbs and fit the intermediate well. I have a new male pup that will likely be around 70 full grown and I think I'm going to have to sell it and get a large.
No it wasn't lost. I guess everything is going just fine, maybe better than normal and I just didn't know it. Thanks.
Ya this could be it. When he's out he follows me anywhere I go.
Also Jim- #4, I didn't think this was a big deal, but maybe it is to dogs. I try not to compare my new pup to my last girl, but I had the same routine with her in the mornings. Only I would air her...
Thanks for the responses. I bagged the dog bed and put it in the garage for now, but maybe I will move it to the living room. That way if we are in the living room hanging out he can nap there, but...
I have a 3 month old golden male. Our routine goes like this: Dinner around 6, put him to bed in his crate around 9, potty break a couple hours later right before I go to sleep, and he sleeps through...
Is this the deadly stuff? I don't think I have ever seen water with a blue/green, oily, or metallic sheen on it. I have definitely seen green scum. Is there a vaccine or any protection like there is...
Just bought a 44 lb bag shipped to my door for free from Chewy.
My last dog would try to "bury" her food bowl in the crate by rubbing her nose on the floor like she was trying to push phantom leaves/dirt over it. Could yours be doing this or does he vacuum it...
I agree. My pup's dam has a white spot on her chest and one white foot and has a CCA. One of the pups in the little had the same markings.
See Hillmann's videos on developing drive and desire.
Why are yall suggesting Mertens "at this age"? Just curious because I have both. There were a couple things I picked up from Sound Beginnings but overall I much prefer Training A Retriever Puppy.
Are you following a program? I highly advise Bill Hillmann's Training A Retriever Puppy. He goes into great detail about training a young pup to sit, chase something, and walk on a lead.
Reminds me of this, let us know what the vet says.
Here are some recent photos of this goof ball.
I took this during a potty break the other night. He was so tired that he couldn't quite...
I hadn't raised a pup in about 2 years and I too had forgotten how much work it is. I am glad I have the time to play mother hen right now.
Vortex makes outstanding optics for the price at all budgets.
I loved little Ruby!
She passed away in June a week after her second birthday. I made this a few days ago.
