Anyone have a copy in good condition you're willing to sell?
Is large Breed food for a 16 month old adult YLM necessary? His weight is around 75lbs... haven't weighed him in a while.
I feed NutriSource Adult Chicken and Rice. The LB food is lower calorie...
I found the culprit to his breaking... I think... or at least a piece of it.
Last night I set three wingers in front of us so they would throw bumpers toward us from different angles. I would...
Thanks I'll look into it and give it a shot.
I get that everyone says their dog is ready... but this is the same dog that just yesterday after honoring another dog that ran three marks, sat and...
OK... I'll bite.
So what would your approach be to get him 'ready'. All indications in training are that he is ready. He's rock solid and doesn't break...
I'd love to fix this in training...
One thing I considered was to chain him to his dog stand, when I hunt by myself. He's not going to get very far, very quickly dragging a dog stand through 18 inches of water. :D
Makes perfects sense... I guess a little sacrifice now will be worth it in the long run. Thanks!
15 month old YLM.
He is rock solid in training, had him honoring another dog this afternoon without once needing a correction... I do all I can to tempt his steadiness but he's solid in training....
Yep... full facial assault here too. Got him smelling better, but he took a direct shot into his mouth, so when he breaths on you it's nasty. He was foaming and snotting at the mouth and nose like...
My Lab got skunked on Saturday evening. Do they typically remember to avoid these things after it happens once?
I sure hope the answer is yes!
How many can you comfortably carry at a time while also carrying a dog stand and gun?
I like the benefit of quick put-out and pick-up... but how well does this work for someone who walks a good distance, carrying a dog stand and all my own gear? Are they harder to carry than a...
Haven't been doing much in the way of marks and haven't used birds in quite a while.
I did take last weekend off from training and just had some fun at the lake on Saturday and didn't do much of...
I'm actually wondering if this isn't part of my problem. We've been on pile work and now Single T for quite a while, I have days when I'm bored with it... almost like I can see the dog saying...
I don't interpret this as a casting problem... more of a lining problem. He knows his casts and does good in 3-handed casting. But like Robbiecox he wants to line to the over piles... kind of like...
Hi guys... I read a bunch here but rarely post.
I have a 10.5 mnth old YLM who is following TRT. We train 4-5 days per week... maybe 6. I've become somewhat addicted! :) I have a very...
I'm trying to decide about an underground fence. I have a 10 year old lab and an 8 month old lab. Recently the old man has started to wonder around the neighborhood which of course the young one...
I took my now almost 8 month old through the Hillmann puppy video when he was 11 weeks old. Never once did I get any form of vocalization. Hillmann preaches it should be fun for the dog... he...
Great photo!!
Here's my boy.

I'm beginning to think I'm may have to do the same. At what point did you decide to go with conventional methods?
I guess maybe I should have clarified that to this point he has had no force applied. He's only been 'taught' what the command means.
GG thanks for your response but I'm really hoping someone...
I have a 6 month old YLM He's been through the Hillman puppy video starting at 11 weeks old and has done great. He's been through CC and I'm now on to the Hillmann 'fetch' video.
My question is...
I'm not regularly using a crate in the SUV. Why would this make a difference? Not saying you're wrong... just curious as to your reasoning for making the point.
Thanks!
The seperation anxiety seems to make the most sense. He does not drool or get sick. But the ride home when we picked him up at 7.5 weeks was a 4 hour drive. Ever since he's had this issue. Guessr...
