Darlene Houlihan and Indi won the Amateur. Yay Indi! (and Darlene!)
Just have to add my 2 cents worth - I have run and helped with several tests at the cattle ranch in the past years. The prisoners are great - polite without fail and hard hard workers - not to...
It was a great trial - congrats to all who participated - but especially to the LTG (Ladies Training Group....) and Darlene Houlihan extra especially who let me run her awesome boy Luke in the Qual!
Thanks all - I will see if I can make one of those!
Does anyone know of any qualifying stakes being run in conjuction with a hunt test in the Southeast this fall or coming spring? Thanks.
Yay Connie and Caleb!!! Woohoo!! Also - Joanna Lewis and Wiley won the Qual. I had a wonderful time running wild man Luke (well - he might have run me a bit.....). Judges were very good and so...

Great reporting! Is the AKC covering this at all this year? I can't find anything on their website.
Ready is a wonderful dog and a handsome and smart boy as well. Was so sorry my friend Darlene and he went out in the 2nd - but so proud of them for being at the National Amateur (I'm a lab owner by...
I second and third the above - the blog report and pics are awesome! Great job!
Ready (Salt Marsh Ready Aim Flyer) is an awesome boy - lots of heart and Darlene has worked really hard with him.
Love the live blog reporting!!! Thank you, thank you to those putting it together and getting it out so quickly! I DO get nervous for my friends, but love following it. Of course, it makes it...

Thanks Cindy - she's doing really well - improvements are much smaller now and I think she may always be slightly impaired on her left front - but she doesn't know it - she tried (and pretty much...

Video of Tess and her friend Ready playing with stick in snow at Xmas time - she loved being at Darlene's farm.
I was one of the very fortunate who got to see Rudy train and run - she was amazing and even as a newbie, I knew she was something special. Dick and Charlotte have been so kind and have taught me so...
another video of Tess on underwater treadmill - rehab vet is feeding her treats - she keeps looking over at me and in the words of one of my friends, seems to be saying "more and faster please". I'm...
finally figured out how to get video up on YouTube - here's a 5 second video of Tess from Monday - she was SO happy to get to play with bumpers.

newest rehab exercise for Tess - playing tug with me with a bumper - after years of trying to get her to be "nice" about not mouthing birds and bumpers - she finally has permission to be "bad"!
@Ann - rehab vet thought that Tess was improved today too - just in how she held herself while she walked. I bet the acupuncture might help Belle too - if you have someone you can go to. The...
