Remember to breathe on the line! :D And good luck!
Stored in the house, and not the garage, about 30 days.
Hunter Shell and Spats earned their HRCH at Old Hatchie last weekend as well. Sonya and I had a great time.
Train Rite Pros throw farther than either a ZW or GU, and as far as both combined if you max one out. They have the safest release possible. The downside is that they are heavier, more expensive,...
I am always glad to shoot, rain or shine, and ask only for a supply of cold diet beverages. Usually supplied by Fishduck's son. Bless that kid!
Winchester makes a 1 1/8 oz #7 steel target load that works very well. Mack's carries them. I shoot either true cylinder or skeet.
To get any of them to fit properly, you are going to have to cut away under the "armpits" and probably dart the vest/cut out slack around the neck and rear abdomen and re-glue with neoprene cement...
Bay Area's Spring HRC test will be Mother's Day weekend (May 8 and 9) in Fairhope, AL. The test is up on Huntsecretary.com for online entries. Hope to see some of you there!
Run both. You find 90% of the same people at both venues. Have fun. Enjoy the journey.
I am glad I got two of them now!
Yes. I know of couple of the Judges pretty well. :D
I heard this same story this weekend, someone thought they scratched one dog and it scratched all that handler's entries.
I have one of these, and it is worth every penny.
I have used most of what is available (but not the MoMarsh), including all the "big names," a couple prototypes that never made it market, as well as climbing stand bottoms, and home made stands. I...
I have never seen an AFC run an HRC hunt test. I have seen QAA dogs bomb a master test in a big way. That is no rap on FT dogs at ALL. They just overran a series of marks shorter than they saw as...
Its considered "bad sport" to shoot the "gimmies" in the UK, and proper sport to take the hard shots, the higher the better. Seems backwards to me, too. But that is sure how they roll.
It takes away from Labs of both backgrounds for the "differences" to be vastly oversold for marketing schemes. I titled one of the first few HRCH (500) UH MH "british dogs" with UK style trial...
To paraphrase the volumes I have written on this topic on this site: Dogs don't know where they came from, dogs only know how you train them.
I have parka/tops of both the Bass Pro 100 mph and Cabela's guide wear lines. The Cabelas is built better, IMHO, but they are equally as dry, and equally as hot if not in COLD weather. I have a HH...
I am so sorry to hear this. I always enjoyed talking with John, he was always cheerful, and he was a great problem solver the one time I had a unit go "missing" during delivery.
I have one of their ramps. Worth every penny.
And Congrats to Dr. Ed!
We have lots of them on the MS coast, too.
I have an HRCH (500) UH MH "british" dog. There are "british" QAA dogs, GHRCH dogs, MNH dogs. A good dog is a good dog, no matter where the parents got on the boat.
It would totally depend on the attitude of the person approaching me. I have taken screenshots of my judges sheets and emailed them to owners myself, usually when someone I know has a dog that does...
