Nick (From Bill Hillman's puppy video) has gone to doggie heaven.
He had advanced stage blastomycosis and was in alot of pain. Nick is now in doggie heaven and retrieving ducks. It just came on too fast. Thanks for the help and advise. I will miss him terribly.
He is not able to walk at this time
Last week he limped a little and vet treated for sore paw. Last night he started getting sores and growths all over face, skull and is losing hair. Also is too lame to walk. Am awaiting test...
We are at vets and am awaiting confirmation of his diagnosis. Is dog at risk of not recovering?
What can you tell me about a dog who has this and has broken out with sores all over the body?
Excellent trainer. He has very good raport with the dogs. Especially young ones. He has taken 2 of my dogs to all-age qualified.
John, the only way to answer that is that Bill Hillman supervised Nicks's training. Sorry it took so long to answer
Steve
I have enjoyed reading this discussion as Nick is my dog. Btw, Nick is all age qualified and running opens now. He also earned 15 derby points while competeing every derby against the eventual #2...
Archery, I was referring to the breeding of Nick jr. Just saying that his parentage was not FC x FC. I am rather proud of his breeding as I own both parents. He and his dad have both thrown some...
Nick's bloodline is from an all age qualified chocolate out of Gates (Hawkeyes Nick Adams) and a house dog /hunting companion (TKO's Puttin' on the Ritz) out of AFCCourier. We don 't think of Nick...
I have used many of the scopes that you all have listed. I keep going back to my favorite scope for hunting because of the ease of knowing distance in a hurry. It also has just as bright a view as...
Yes that is the puppy in Bill's video. He is three. We call him Nick Jr.
Just a little brag. My dog, "Hawkeyes Victory At Sea" took second yesterday at the Watopa qualified field trial.
Brick was taught by Bill and Mary so his program is very similar to theirs.
Bill ran him in the derbys until he was 20 mo. old. He is now being trained by Brick Hajlik in Iowa. He is also going to be in a video by a manufacturer of bumpers on how to train a dog by yourself...
I own Nick. He is going to compete in quals. trials this spring. He earned 15 derby points last summer and had to run against the co-derby champ in each trial.
I have one tested and affected. Can not hunt or trial. Has had numerous episodes.
What has anyone heard about this?
I'm not in favor of cloning, but think of how many more straws of Lean Mac you could sell.
I have a female that also recycles every 4 months. I did take her to a reproductive specialist and he said nothing was wrong with her. He called her an alpha breeder. He did check her thyroid. ...
From what I can find on the RFT and Entry Express sites, I count 8 jams and reserve jams for Punch and 7 for Pink. I did not count a jam for Punch for todays derby. Anyone else checking?
If a series is officially canceled by the judges, can it be restarted again by the trial committee.
His first derby was a "Let's see where he is at" type of run. He took a 4th just after he turned 12 mo. He started preparing for quals at 22 mo. and I am hoping to see him get qualified this winter...
Correction, the film goes up to just over 6mo. He ran his first derby at 9mo.
