I have used a 50' cable - it is just regular zip cord from Radio Shack with mono plugs attached. Little heavier wire than what is used on the 15' phono cords.

I needed a new laptop and W8 was so odd to me that I bought my first mac. W8 had no support for POP email - work arounds, yes, but...
I actually don't know if I would want to limit our tests. I guess that it would depend on the state of the grounds in any given year, but I do think that it would be good for clubs to have that...
Arleen's post seems to answer the question. The October AKC BOD minutes state that the AKC is going to take up entry limits in December. Master is the only stake they are discussing at this time. A...
I see a Hunt Test listed on EE with a limit on MH entries. I was aware that the AKC has been considering allowing clubs to limit entries but I did not think that anything had passed. Anyone know...
Well made and throw a country mile. Great for launching a flyer - you just step down with your toe so you aren't off balance when the bird is launched. They do weigh more than the smaller aluminum...
Nope. Sorry, but you are out of luck.
Great piece of equipment. Never had a misfire (unless you count the time I forgot to take off the safety). Also very easy to use in manual mode.

The location of the sunrise is always something the judge should be considering when setting up a test for the weekend. I have been wrong before and have had a problem on Saturday morning.
I found...
The guy at Verizon transferred everything from a BB to iPhone. Seems he can do it for any phone, if he has the right cable.
You might look at Adobe Premiere Elements. Its the consumer version of their powerful Pro version. I think that you can get it bundled with Photoshop Elements (a pretty good program also) for about...
Jim Spenser's book that Howard mentioned, while pretty old, is still my favorite description of the traditional force fetch process. I get my copy out with every new puppy... I've enjoyed everything...
Its a very very time consuming process. Several years ago, I started scanning 100's of old slides. I ended up returning the scanner and shipping the slides out and having them scanned professionally.
Obviously, they can be confused on a blind. However, in AKC HT rules, at least, it states "There is no allowance for confusion on blind retrieves". Section 7, page 25 of current rule book.
Best I've used - burlap bags. Some air gets in, flies stay out (sometimes you get fly eggs on the outside if the bag).
I use the Verizon 3G in the winter when training in SC - right on the fringe of the service area but works well most of the time. 3G will be faster than dial up, probably around the speed of DSL. One...
Never used the 'Neck Tech' but I think that their regular prong is well worth the money. Been using the same one for over 10 years. I don't use the large ones - a medium seems to actually work better...
Wrap them in newspaper and then a plastic bag from the grocery store. I usually, but not always, thaw before use. Try to get them dry before freezing.
I'm not organized enough to date them -...
I use a couple of Midwest crates with a side door and and end door. Should be available at any of the big mail order houses.
I'm fairly sure that the Trainrite release works on tangelos.
I've used 100' of regular lamp wire with 2 plugs soldered on - seems to work fine. Don't use it a lot since that's a lot to have on the ground waiting for a dog to run over.
Where can you get a copy of this book? Is it the one Pete Simmons did?

X2 on Steve's post.
I feel that this is something that has to be addressed with most dogs. Lots of us sort of ignore a little drop at water's edge as long as our dogs pick up the bird and come to...
When the puppy first comes home, buy 100' of 3/8" at Walmart and braid it onto a collar. Keep making it shorter as your needs change and you end up with a nice little 18" handle at the end. I pretty...
Not real close, but there's one in Syracuse this Spring.
