As far as handling =showing dog where mark is, No.
If you handle too close to the gun or fall area, YES.
So, figure out where during the course of a mark it would be beneficial to handle if...
.
Why even bother training if you're not going to maintain even the most basic of standards.
You're actually gonna stand there and watch your dog cheat just to see if it throws him off the mark....

OK
After reading this I understand where your at and need guidance with getting started doing the right things with your puppy. These club training days if and when they happen will not be enough...

Don't know him and no assertions cast.

I used to have a bunch of info.
Try contacting the guys that head the canine rehab certification training program at Univ Tennessee.
Oh and don't pay attention to Bon. Anyone who doesn't handle on marks in training won't get far at all. I'm not talking about handling in the fall area either as this would be bird boy help...

It's summer now but come winter find and stick to Mr Willow like glue.

To your question, technically, a whistle was blown before dog picked up bird so it's a handle. If one wanted to consider it, the whistle may also have encouraged dog to pick up bird.
My dog...
OK Mr Wayne here ya go.
You need to be looking down at and watching your dog 90% of the time on line. Get the hang of using the BB remote without looking at it. Don't watch bumper arc into the air...
Congratulations to Darla's boy Tuffy and owner Freeman on winning Qual.
Way to go guys!
Anybody out there?
That's so cool! Congratulations.
Is he the same dog you had in Merry's yard a few years back?

Congratulation winning the Qualifying with your Curly Rhino.
That's great.
Regardless of collar or no collar if you are training your first puppy alone with aspirations of competing in field trials at the highest level plan on going through 3 or 5 dogs before you taste...
Thanks, I'll ask vet about discontinuing the Pred Meredith. She's got a number of issues so....
ALT is a liver enzyme. When elevated or high can indicate liver disease or infection.
It is checked as part of CBC blood work.
I have a 14 yr old that has been doing OK on 5 mg prednisone daily for a while with no recurrence. Had v syndrome wondering, eye twitch etc. Also had high alt count which leveled off. Going for check...
Yea, get used to it. Sort of like they have an itch they can't scratch.
Tweaking the anal gland now and then wouldn't hurt.
Some dogs coming into heat do stuff like that.
Next time at a test, just before you run the water blind, go off grounds and force dog to a back pile on land a few times using e-collar.
He should go pretty good when you run the h2o blind.
Oh! That's cool Jeff. Congratulations!
How did you get into that?
