Wing and leg. Don't throw them as hard as you do a duck.

So far I have seen marks from 60 yards to 400+. You can't really compare the derby to hunt tests. However, I would say most of the competitive derby dogs would not have trouble running a Master test....

Not sure how many FC/AFC have been successful as most field trialers dont run SRS.
I do know some of the successful SRS dogs were trained by field trialers for all age and then purchased by SRS...

Congrats to Jimmie, Shane, Erin, and Mark. It was a good weekend for Team Wildwings. Jimmie has done a great job with the dogs and I think the owner/handlers are getting better too

Are you sure about these "charging times"? Ive used one a fair amount and my understanding is that you can hold the button for 3 seconds or 10 seconds and it only allows so much gas in. Idiot proof...
