Dan Heard is down there for the winter but heads north as soon as the gators come back out. He doest run field trials but will get her ready to move to a field trial trainer. Really good dog guy!

Personally I get out of my pit and run blind retrieves as I would in a test. Just because your hunting doesn't mean you can be training or at the very least maintaining. An inexperienced opinion but...

We also have a pup out of that litter! She's a great dog doing well in her training. My only complaint might be she's a tad large for my taste.
