I would hope it wouldn't, not for a one time, out of no where situation.
My dog would pick up decoys on the fetch command. I'd send her on back and tell her to "fetch" when she would be right next to the decoy. I relize that I got pretty lucky with her never picking up...
I judge only HRC and have judged 8-10 times a year the last 5 years. I retired my old dog and got a new pup, so I'm takin a year off to recharge the batteries.
