You said you knew the reason for the pop. If judging and the reason was something like a whistle blown from behind the line, then I would be lenient in judging this. I would expect the dog to wait...
I will be glad to furnish to the breeder the names of everyone I have ever bought a pup from. That is fair. I want pups from a breeder that places responsibly. However, I will not buy on limited...
I won't say I never will, but to date, I have not bought a limited registration pup. Had quite a discussion with a breeder that I wanted a pup from. I told him that he should not sell me a pup...
How about requiring that entrants have spent a minimum of 10 days hunting the prior season?
This is why I hunt with the ecollar on
It is the book I cut my teeth on in the mid 70's. Read this book and made sure I bought a quality pup for my first one.. thank goodness....
great post.... kind of stuff I look for at this site. Thank you
My son just bought a 2011 Toyota Rav4 from Hertz. well below Kelly blue book. was able to rent it for a couple days and drive it around. comes with warrenty. got 29 mpg driving it home... not...
There is a silent majority out there that agree with the change. Don't give me this standard stuff... you all know very well there is a lot of latitude within the "standard". You also know that...
have them and use them. can't remember how long ago I got them. They have held up and they work, but there is some effort involved. I think I would advise just buying the plastic preloaded ones.
mine was doing it..had to use the buckle to turn off/on... then it self-corrected and is fine now...
Neat!!! Thanks for posting that...
If you had tried to get in Midway HRC's hunt test and finished was full, we have had some scratches and now have some room... call the hunt test secretary.. test is sept 29 and 30
I didn't have a dog in that fight, but wondered exactly what the rule was on the last td. if offensive and defensive player both seemingly have posession on a pass, who gets it?
my last packet from HRC showed that 2 or 3 potential clubs in Kansas have ordered start-up packets, so maybe some new club(s) are on the docket. It didnt say where they were located.
you can't stop her?... does she have an ecollar on?
Goldens make fine hunting dogs... just be sure and buy out of good working stock...
nol...they wern't consecutive.. I ran their spring test..
the last cancellation was due to low entries..
saw a video on getting smell out of sponges. after trying vinegar, etc, what finally worked was leaving it out in the sun for a couple days... its a cheap try...
I just went through 4 seniors in AKC. I also had done HRC first... what they did was do one of the doubles as a walk up... in the 4 that I ran they were all the land series... and a flyer was one...
For various reasons.. even in the hunt tests... the amateur will be almost nonexistant...
I can remember going to a master where virtually every dog had an owner/handler present.. miss those...
I have had my ARE for about 3 years.... no issues/problems.
almost all of us got started the same way....
I think you got something there... next time I judge I'll pay attention....
