Tim, very sorry for your loss.
I agree, Yosemites are great for the buck.
Don't be too harsh on Bushnell, I have a pair of Elites that compete with almost anything out there.
I've been using it for just about a year now. Adult chicken and Performance. Been feeding my nursing bitch a scoop of Small, Medium Puppy with Performance. Good stuff.
Smith Veterinary, Burnsville MN. I did not use them for AI, but for progesterone, consulting. I know they do all methods of AI. Don't know how far it is for you.
What Todd said. Also get them used to stinky, waterlogged, fly bitten birds.
I send on marks by name, blinds on "back", "hunt em up" for upland work or to hunt an area for a dead bird. My release command is "hie on". They pick it up fast and it is a clear command to both...
I had good luck with Victor, but a pain to get in my area. Switched to Nutri-Source 6 weeks ago, feed a bit less with good results.
I have been using green wadded blanks in the one I have. Works way better than crimped. Loud!
Welcome to the other side. Great looking pup!
I have gone to all 3" DT's. They stay soft in the cold and I think the dogs are less apt to cigar or otherwise mess with the bigger dummy. I use a small hexagon for FF. Just my $.02.
I flew to San Diego last fall and noticed quite a few small dogs being carried around the airport. I am assuming these are being transported in the cabin? Anyone have any experience with this? ...
I wrapped bandaged foot with plastic wrap, then used ziploc bags with the tops taped around the leg, worked well for brief trips to the yard. Amazing how good you get after you do it a few dozen...
My Ches. female tore a pad last spring. Had to cone her, keep it dry(no small feat in wet spring weather) kept her on leash. Changed dressing after every walk. I think it was about a month before...
I would spend some time learning and finding out what features you really need, and buy accordingly. I bought a Canon T2i a couple of years ago to photograph my kids HS sports events. It worked out...
Went out monday AM. Fifteen degrees when the boat hit the water. Limits by 9AM. Ducks and several geese. Almost got froze in, had to push boat and break ice last few hundred feet to land. As cold...
I have a Dogtra 1200NCP. If memory serves, bought it in 02,maybe 03. One set of batteries. Hunted with it again today. Great product, zero problems. Will get another if this one goes down.
Haydels Redleg. It just sounds like Susie.
For full body geese, the original bigfoots, not the b2. Ducks G&H.
Another vote for DT softmouth. Bought a dozen last year, as said by others stay soft even in bitter cold. I will buy more.
I have a ten+ year old 1200NCP. Always 30-40. This has been a great collar, only thing done to it has been one set of batteries.
Neil Peart, drummer, RUSH.
Just for something different.
Everyone has given lots of good advice. What inspired you to go "brown"?
I use old school "Hie On" as release. No confusion. Back on blinds, name on marks.
I haven't research a new shotgun in a while. Looks like the synthetic 390 has been replaced by the A300 Outlander, as others have posted here. Large retailer had them for $649, was told it is a...
Beretta 390. Get a base black synthetic. I use one of these as my every day gun. Keep it clean, especially when it gets cold and it will serve you well. Pick one up and compare it to the Stoegers...
