Jamie
I'm off of 75 and nw highway. Like to find something within 1-1/2 hr of that.
I just moved to the Dallas area, and I'm looking for land that I could train on. Does anyone have any places that an amatuer could use a couple of times a week?
Way To Go Pudge!!!! Thats 2 Placements And Finishing 4 Out Of 6 Trials. Congrats Buddy!!!
Congrats To Gabe And Weston!!!!!!!!!!
I would like to thank everyone that helped make our training day a success. Look forward to seeing everyone at the next event. And a big thanks to Jeff and Washita retrievers.
Congrats to Joe and Kate. I know that Joe and James have worked really hard with their dogs.
Texoma Hrc will holding a training day at Washita Retrievers on March 13th and was wanting to pass an invite to anyone who might be in the area.
If so contact me @ Jamie.huffman72@yahoo.com for...
You may check with Waterrock, he is from your area. His name is Grant Wilson.
Sounds good, How do I get him to focus?
The pro I use is on winter trip. I've been touch. Even with him knowing the dog cause he has helped me through a lot up to this point doesn't know what caused it. Nothing was done before or during...
unless he went deaf over night but he can hear the come in wistle on marks at 300 yards plus and take casts into the water on the same marks if he tries to cheat.
His ears look fine and he's not yet 3 and this is the first season he's hunted. he has been running derby's and fixin to start seniors. that does not seem to be the problem.
Has anyone ever had or heard of a dog that was running nice blinds and had slipped one or two wistles just start blowing the sit wistle off. My dog has been running blinds for bout a year and two...
You just have to find em. Killed 3 limits of green heads before 8 on Sat. That made for a great birthday.
has she had plenty of birds to pick up during training? You might have to get some flier practice w/ her.
Everyone thinks their way is right, personally they are all fun.
I love my dogs. I love my couch. Call me selfish but I'm not sharing it with 75 lbs. of fur. These dogs really spread out, besides they have beds throughout the house.
I use all plastic. Canvas is so easy for the dog to hold that its almost like cheating. But to each their own. Canvas will hold sent better for a dog that uses its nose well.
Every collar and dog is a little different. I have a pro 200 that a 4 is more than enough, but I have a sport combo that a low 3 will get the job done. But that being said, it also depends on what...
Heck, there is 38 dogs in the derby. And close to 50 in the qual.
I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to find and recruit new members for clubs? Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks
and to the point of a "no bird" you sent a dog after it?
If this is a true hunting situation, I have to ask when was the last time you shot a bird to the point the only thing to grab was a wing? but that aside, the dog sound more than able, better luck...
Any news on the open?
