I agree with Mike on Kristen Hoffman.

My son started shooting a Berretta 3901 in 12 gauge. Great shotgun and has many adjustments for size and fit. He was 70# when he started shooting it and very low recoil.

I own both Kimber and Springfield. Both are great firearms, but I tend to shoot the Kimber more.
