Spot on Ed.
Nearly all the very successful pro trainers I know throw marks during FF. Hard to argue with success but some will try.
Bingo! We have a winner.
Give lots of freebees to the back pile without correction. Not a difficult problem to solve in my opinion.
Sorry Bubba, but not correct. Rody Best, one of the longtime SRS participants decided to give it a try again and he was the winner.
You are correct Wayne.
Good analogy by John. I had the pleasure of judging this event last year with John. That was my 14th SRS event to judge. Had a blast.
Funny how the OP said nothing about when or if the dog was aired. Someone mentioned it and everyone jumped on.
I agree 100% Chris. The problem is the laws are very vague and basically depend on what the Game Warden says. I just have chosen to not take the chance.
Game wardens in most states I'm aware of...
Very sad news. Great person and a very valuable asset that will be missed by many.
I guess I'm the bad guy here, but I don't tolerate a male peeing anytime while running. They pee on my terms only when I'm around.
He pees anywhere near me....... Swift kick in the you know what!

Very good advice in my opinion.
I assume you know Ed is my son? :)
What John said. I have only had to cancel 1 assignment in about 10 years judging on average 8 time a year.
I would hope not. :)
As a judge I would not have a problem with it. However, Margo is correct in the rules require a handler to shoulder the gun and shoot at the top of the arc. A junior model pump shotgun provided by...
No. Unless the state requires it.
It's not judged as a mark.
Speaking as a long time Finished HRC judge that finally had the pleasure of judging with Janet last weekend, we can't tell a handler exactly where they need to run the blind, however we can tell them...
Whew. You had me worried there for a little Vicky. I was expecting to maybe have to gouge my eyes out again. :)
Happy Birthday Gooser!
No truer words have been said!
Dude is a big dog with a lot of talent. He is however, the exception to the rule. He is probably one of the biggest, most talented dogs I have ever judged. His size in the test world is unusual. ...
