Congratulations! Well done!
Such great news, proud to be part of a breed with so many Ch MH! Way to represent!
Lucky....Aubrey can get away with calling her a labradoodle....she has a liver one at home too :). Thanks for sharing pictures of my cute puppy and her dorky opinionated owner.....
From my limited weekends, I have seen bird variability(low flying, multiple flyoffs, ones dropped close to dog) tempting steadiness and water blinds being the reasons for master failure and not being...
I have found the judges are very tolerant of the retriever whistles if your dog listens well to it :) and you keep the times you use it to a minimum.
Yep, train it almost every session.....oh wait, probably cause we train in the same places...hi Mary Lynn!
Yeah....that was the first thing I did too....and then just wore it around my neck and never used it :) Used the obnoxious green monster they hated(but tried to use it sparingly and quietly)
You will definitely learn a lot about the test just from going to one and better yet running in one. A dog through at solid SH retriever level that is solid in the HRC Upland program should have no...
We have run a few weekends of these and had a WONDERFUL time! But......keep very good records....just got off the phone with AKC AGAIN....Apparently they are having to manually enter the upland...
Can always add Addisons to the list of those signs
? It's too bad there aren't more running really.
Congratulations to all! What a great weekend of weather to run dogs.
For our breed, I'm a little biased, he's the first one. Yes, I think it is worth being on an AKC pedigree to look back on in the future. I don't think making it a title is going to be the answer...
I definitely know how I felt about the qual win of my curly black dog recently.....it was freakin awesome......and has already resulted in me making amat entries that I never would have even thought...
Sorry didn't catch the class designation. Yes, the class IV can cause harm which is why they are also able to be so effective in a short enough amount of time.
The company we use. And love it and use it on everything.
Thank you all! I knew at some point, he would be QAA and it would be a cool feeling, but that day far exceeded my expectations!
He was great! Love a frolicking white faced lab!
If anyone has a catalog from this trial they could part with, I need one please. Will pay shipping. Thank you! Sarah
Guess where we will be celebrating Friday night......all you can eat crab legs......
I was wondering if you remembered Breck, yep he is the one, I was learning how to line up for multiples that day :)
Today at the Midwest Field Trial Club under Judges Chris Byers and Brandon Edmondson, the curly-coated retriever breed got their first QAA!!!! So proud he happens to sleep in our bed. Thank you to...
I don't think that was the dog that won it. If he is.....I have his blue ribbon with me :)
Send to my email, firstname.lastname@example.org
Talk to you soon.
We tried these tests in Jr, Sr, and Master last weekend with the curlies, had a great time!
Absolutely, in pointing hunt tests, you can review your test with the judges after ribbons, just like retriever hunt tests.
