If your just starting off...buy the DR-85, and go to youtube. Get a good quack down and just repeat it. 3x , 5x, 7x..... It's not that hard.

After the first tie, I keep them apart for 24 hrs. I then let them tie again. I do this three times, but that's just how I've done it. Some may think it's over kill, but I don't think so. I wont to...

Lots of great speck calls out there...Meyer's, J.J. Lares, Basin, Redbone just to name a few.
I use a Lares because it's easy to run and it sounds good....It tricked a lot of specks this year...

I had the same problem with my dawg until I switched to Fromm Surf N Turf. No corn, and no problems....
