How many cups a day of the Exclusive? Why the barley? You are diluting down the balanced nutrients put together in a good dog food? That definitely can have an affect on coat condition.

I also have a similar problem with my older lab. Switched to PMI Exclusive which is wheat free and the problem went away. Need to really watch treats and biscuits as many have wheat in them. ...

Another vote for PMI Exclusive. Good ingredients and very good performance. Current dog is on the large breed puppy and doing well. My older dog with allergies has done great on the Senior.
