Prayers and thoughts are with Michelle and Kirk. I'm so glad I was able to get a last hug and visit with him this past weekend. We couldn't have lost a better man. He will be missed.

Hunt test is Oct 6&7 make hotel reservations early the Rice Festival and the Trade Days will be on the same weekend.

A Carrier of EIC is not a problem dog. Has the same traits as a non carrier. Can play the same game. Is not a dog of lesser value. You just have to be a good breeder and breed it with the right dog.

I prefer the silver. It seems to hold up better with our heat and humidity

Port Arthur Retriever Club is going to host their AKC hunt test the weekend of Feb 25 & 26. Waiting for judges approval to get open for entries on entryexpress.

Pond 1 is a little choppy. Just have to run close to the edge to avoid hurting dog. The rest are fine.

There are no plans of canceling our event. We have one low pond. Backup plans if it is not usable.
