i remember a hunt test in Madison years ago where after the 3rd or 4th male lost his brain it was determined that a female that ran earlier was in fact in heat. Required picking up the entire test...

I have been giving 1200 mg of fish oil daily to my dogs for many years.
Have never had one with skin, coat or related problems. Don't know if it's the fish oil or not but plan t keep on giving it....

Consider a leash or tie out stake. This will prevent him getting his reward unless you release him.
Replace spring in butt. Had the same experience but replacing spring & sleeve with stainless steel solved it. Requires heat to get it out though.
