Just visited Weller Kennels in New Bern, NC, after having my washed out pup (an understatement, some would say abused), their for rehabilation/training at 7.5 months old.

Well, sorry for not posting so much...Deer season has had me wrapped up. It happens in Sep, and I do not seem to get back to Earth language till about now....LOL

Well, quick update here..
Did not get a hog on our SC hunt, one in our party did...was HOT

But, on the way down we dropped Paige off at John Weller's place, and I will say...
The difference was...

Make sure your dog's collar is a flat buckle collar, with nothing attached or hanging (name tag, rabies cert)...

Was counseled on my 1st JH test on that.

Even if frozen, thaw in a fridge...
Sautee, or Grill...
Bake would be my 3rd option..
Deep Fry...well....they do that with Chitluns, so deep fried anything can be made...

Had Paige evaluated by Vicky this morning, and according to her she has great training potential. What a relief....
I also learned that I need someone behind me with a heeling...

Extended ones are marked real well...you pay for them....
Other than that...Put em in, and don't take em out...
