Dog looks well-trained and a joy to work with. A couple of minor suggestions: (1) When the dog returns with the first retrieve, have him sit facing the second retrieve.

Nice set up. Yes, hindsight helps. Fading with the wind (pushing off the gun) still allows the dog to wind the bird. On the other hand, when my dog takes a nice line, I like her to be rewarded at...

How do you (Howard or Capt'nJack) teach the dog when to stay-in and when to get-out on a long mark? I understand on a short mark ... I either correct or pass. To me, it is always a memory problem...
