He goes tomorrow for his first treatment... My vet is a dear friend of mine and wants to try at least two rounds of chemo, coupled with steroids... So I said yes... If I know "Gander" he will let me...

So Gander has been diagnosed with lymphoma... Vet recommends trying a couple chemo treatments... I just feel as though I'm prolonging the inevitable here... Any thoughts from those of you with...

May God be with and comfort all those affected...

Did eat some soft food today which is a vast improvement over yesterday... Spirits seem good, just awaiting the biopsy results... Praying 4 a positive outcome...

He seems maybe a little better... Still the persisting lower jaw issue but his spirits are up and he seems like my old boy again... Been hydrating him with a syringe as he has problems swallowing......

Thank you all so much for your encouraging words as well as thoughts and prayers... Could the almost paralysis like symptoms he's suffering in his lower jaw be attributed to Horner's syndrome?

You know Barb I don't know? Not sure I ask or if he told me... I figured any type of infection could cause the neck glands to swell... Is the swelling of the glands in the hind legs indicative of...

I have a good feeling God is gonna bring him through this....

Swollen nodes yes... He also has an issue with his lower jaw its almost as though it paralyzed... Vet treated with anti-inflammatories and antibiotics... Now we await the results of the biopsies... ...

Gander was diagnosed with Horner's syndrome... Underlying cause is severe infection vs lymphoma... Any background on this? Biopsies were sent off so we will know in a day or two... Please keep him in...

Wife is taking my boy in... It's like he has no motor function over his lower jaw... Can't even eat a hot dog... Very excessive drooling etc... Acts great otherwise???

No temp... Vet seems to think spider bite or some type of reaction 2 a sting of sorts... Gave him another Benadryl and a oral dose of prednisone per vet... He seems comfortable, just worried...

So after some waterwork today I noticed Gander had some swelling around his right eye... Only other symptom I've noticed is he seems to be doing alot of mouth breathing... Seems to have some trouble...
