    Default ObamaCare

What? Do you mean that after 3-4 years of complaining how terrible ACA is, how wrong it is, that people don't want it, the entire program is bad, and they are going to repeal this terrible law and replace it with a better program, and...they have NOTHING! Maybe we can have something ready in a couple of years....Oh, guess they didn't look and the pros and cons before spewing....

Well Trump promised to repeal it on his first day in office so let's see if he's a man of his word...

You've been reading too much left wing MSM fake news. Future HHS secretary and orthopedic surgeon Tom Price introduced very specific legislation on this in the last four congresses. Here.

Not sure what you mean by "nothing".... an outright appeal would be a major advancement. The Dems have been clinging to this mess, because they couldn't admit it was a blunder.

I respectfully disagree. The ACA was no blunder, it was designed to fail. The failure would be blamed on the insurance companies that people love to hate. Complete government takeover of the healthcare system would then be achieved. The only blunder was the failure of Socialist democrats to retain control of the senate and oval office.
Now we will see if the republicans have the will or desire to keep their word.

Did you REALLY write this BS?? It was passed on bribes(Senators from La. and Ok.) and changing the rules of the Senate. No need to recite its history because those that supported it could not care less as to what the effect has been. After 8 years, it still hasn't been implemented completely and you want an INSTANT fix to the destruction caused by Obamacare?? Just as the atomic bomb destroyed Hiroshima, Obamacare has damaged our healthcare system. I just hope it hasn't been totally destroyed.

The bastards have done a masterful job destroying the doctor -patient relationship. I actually wonder if it can even be saved. Doctors are selling their practices. The private practice in Nashville which provides me treatment, is one of the very few left. I drive over 170 miles one way for non-emergency treatment. The government has bureaucrats that dictate to doctors the acceptable treatment. These bureaucrats probably could not make minimum wage except from the government.

Take a look at the work "healthCARE". The word "care" in healthcare is fast disappearing. You want a system like the teachers union in Chicago? We keep going down the path set by Obamacare and people will DIE. I can't tell you ow many I know that have lost all desire and joy of practicing now. Can you comprehend what will happen when the doctors don't see themselves as providers of healthCARE?? Good luck. I hope you are one of the first that get what you ask for.

I know this article from today is published from a liberal, left wing media, but it sure seems pretty accurate.

Mike, in 2009 & 2010 Republicans tried to offer suggestion and amendments to the ACA. They were told no thank you by the Democrats. We don't need or want your suggestions. This part of the article wrote below shows just how arrogant and ignorant the Democrats are being. One side offered to help and make sure the ACA was the best possible law and was rebuffed. Now....

they face the prospect of overhauling the American health insurance system without any help from across the aisle. Democrats appear increasingly determined to offer Trump's party as little help as possible.

Actually, I am not in love with Obamacare, but from the very beginning, I thought this was a starting point, for what I think is a good idea. My insurance rates have been increasing long before ACA. I do expect that there will be changes to the program that will improve it, which is a good thing. What I am saying, is that after all of this time, there is nothing ready for a plug and play replacement. Seriously, I thought they would have a developed, complete plan replacement/improvement plan, that could be implemented immediately. That the funding methods would have been calculated (to the best of their ability, since it is always an educated guess), that they would have been having meetings with insurance providers to work out potential glitches, etc...Must be my snowflake mentality...people bitching and complaining for years and then when it is time to put up or shut up, they have nothing!
