    Default Quick EE question!

Are ALL the dogs entered in a FT shown on entry express's site?

Could there be more dogs listed AFTER the close,, and running order results posted?

    Thanks in advance

Maybe in HRC, but not in an AKC licensed retriever field trial or hunting test.

I used to wonder about that when you could still mail in entries for free a few years ago. I think that now the mail ins cost the same so I'm guessing that no one does it.

So I would say that Entry Express should show all entries at the close.

There is a small window (usually 24 hrs) after the close but prior to the running order being set where EE cleans up any entry related issues that could affect the entries (double entries, wrong flights, late scratches, etc). Also there is a rare occasion for the entries to change slightly after close due to someone having had an inability to enter an event prior to close due to an EE computer related issue that can be confirmed by EE, in that case then there might be a dog entered after close. But in no circumstances can a dog be entered after the running order is set.

Dogs do get added to AKC hunt test stakes. Dogs that have titled can move up to run the higher stake. So say dog got its senior title last weekend; instead of running the senior test it was entered in the following weekend it can run the master. In the tests I've been at these dogs are penciled in on the marshall's sheet.

Technically they have entered the "test" - the stake the are running changes and that is covered under the rules....they did not enter the event after close.

Right. Dog is entered in event, but the stake it runs gets switched. So the dogs running a particular stake can change.

Can this sort of situation happen with field trials? Say a dog wins a second qual and is no longer eligible to run quals. (As I remember the rules.) If this dog is entered in the Qual of a subsequent trial, can it be bumped to run the Am or Open instead?

No it cannot...it can still run the Q if the closing date of the event was prior to the second Q win...
