Default Put my blind up today!

The past 3 years Ive noticed the birds liked to ignore my dekes and land downstream from me.
Well this year Ive moved down there.
Brushed it in a bit, but got too hot and called it quits.

Trap hot and went and laid in the water.

Looks great, cuz it's almost invisible. Trap seems to be a little brighter them Mark

I can't believe they consider that little stream a river, but like you said it is the desert. Good shooting!

Im originally from Pa., and am used to a river being a river.
Trap retrieved 122 ducks and 39 geese off this stream last year. We do get quite a few birds down here.

Blind looks good. Is there a danger of flooding if it rains?
What if all we have today is what we gave thanks for yesterday?

No. I make sure I put the blind above any amount of high water.
Bad thunder storm rolled thru a bit ago and another is about to hit. Weather says flood warning here.
Here's another view from out on that sand bar.

Thanks. I was curious because it looks like a desert area and when I lived in SoCal those 'rivers' would rise quick and sometimes pretty high. I am from upstate NY and I agree with an earlier comment about rivers. This looks like what we would call a creek or a stream.

    Good luck again this year!
