Default Retriever Club in Southern/Central California

I'm looking for an active club/group that trains in southern or central California. I can train during the week and weekends. I know there are some groups that train at Prado and Goose Lake, but I'm not sure how active they are. I have a MH YF and a BF puppy. Thanks for the help.

Inland Valley Retriever Club holds regular training days at Prado. http://www.inlandvalleyretrieverclub.com/ It is a great place to make contact to meet others to set up training.

Does California South Coast Retriever Club take new members? I have been unable to get ahold of anyone. Anyone know how often they get together and train? Thanks.

was a member 20 years ago but since the membership arent exactly next door neighbors they only seem to get together during the trials themselves..Look up the premium on Entry Express and contact the club Secretary or FT Chairperson, probably a good chance that either one of them is an officer of the club

Inland Valley Retriever Club is a very active group. We hold a formal training day and general meeting on the first Saturday of each month at Prado. We also break up into self-organized training groups that meet at Prado more often. You're fairly far off, about 100 miles, but we have members that drive up from San Diego regularly (90 miles +/-). I drive over 50 miles. You should try to make our next meeting.

I also belong to Central Coast Retriever Club. Really great people but they are located too far for me to be active in the club. You should contact them to see if they might be more convenient for you.

The Lab Retriever Club of Southern Californis is also very active with regular training days and two hunt tests annually- spring and fall.

Here are some ways to get ahold of folks:
    http://lrcsocal.org
    http://www.pradobasinhrc.com/
    http://www.inlandvalleyretrieverclub.com/

The first two also have up-to-date Facebook pages.

Many down here are members if all 3 clubs, and the retriever community here is really a great group of folks!
