    Default Choke for Benelli Nova

Looking for an extended choke for my Nova 12ga pump. It is my "extra" waterfowl gun, and I am having trouble finding a good, mid range extended choke for it. The Carlson choke that fits Benelli fits very oddly into the gun because of how the choke is threaded, and I am not liking it. Does anyone out there use a Nova and an extended choke that you like? All suggestions welcome! Thanks all.

I just bought a patternmaster for my Benelli Nova......They make a duck choke and a goose choke, along with many others to suite your needs. I bought the goose choke. Claims it will knock em down out to 70 yards with the right load. We shall see.

Oh nice, looks like I need to place an order! Thank you for the feedback. Have you shot it at all to at least see the pattern?

To be honest i've found the extended choke to be effective in a few of our hunting spots (riverbottom blind where wind swirls along the hillside) and have seen about 10-15 yards worth of extension in my pattern. I do not use it field hunting as the geese are usually only 10-25 yards away, but in some cases I do like to have one.

With all due respect to the Kick's (which I have not tried), I can wholeheartedly endorse the patternmaster extended long range choke.

Best money I've spent on hunting since I bought the gun.
