    Question puppy first vaccinations

    have a litter that is just weaned at 4 weeks because need to do eic test been getting a lot of different answers as when to do first shots any input would be greatly appreciated was told after weaned they need to be vaccinated before 10 days

    Latest protocol is first shot at 6-7 weeks, then at 3-week intervals until four shots. Rabies at 16 weeks.

    I use Vanguard Plus 5 for my puppy shots.

    Depends (imo) on where you live. Parvo is very bad here, so I give Neopar (high titer parvo only that helps override maternal antibodies) at 5 wks. I do my first combo (was Progard 5 but now Nobivac) at ~7 - 7.5 wks, so they have 2 parvos before vet well checks, CERFs and departure at 8 wks.
