    Default Teal Season

Slow start to the Louisiana Teal season record low birds but we mannaged to get a few this past weekend. Zeus did not understand why i was not shooting all the woodduck and summer mallards landing in our decoys....

24 for us on Sunday, but all this water has probably screwed the lid down tight on the coffin for 2013.

Good opening weekend for us, slow during this week. Picking up again now, 5 limits this morning by 830. This rain and front should help us.

Better this morning than mid week, tapered off rapidly after about 9:00. 16 in my blind, 9 in another and 7 in a third blind. All my contacts tell me that the birds are still up north.

In Missouri I went out once last week and once this week, very few birds....teal season always starts 2-3 weeks to early as the ducks are just not in this area this early.....
