Thank you for the compliment, however things are sometimes made to be used. They may be shiny and new, but, they are expected to serve purpose.Dents, dings, scratches, will hopefully someday express memories of days afield.

Woodstrip canoes are a good example of this. Some are afraid to use them, cause they don't want to experience the damage, but they are made to be a tool.

Scratches can be somewhat repaired, and the ones that arnt show character .

The finish is Spar Urethane. Great resistance to U V rays, and pretty durable. It will get scratched, but with no stain, and a natural finish, touch up is fairly easy.

I would gues the weight to be about 25 - 30 pounds... Guessing.

Agreed. My philosophy has always been that if you are afraid to use it for its intended purpose then you don't have it, IT has YOU. That is what I say when I look at the scratches on my truck, my Benelli and hunting rifles.

it is workable, useable Folk Art!
I can see it going from a summer camp shed out to a lawn setting or overlook.
Or used by seminar givers and such.
I think it is way to big for my truck but would love one for deer camp!
thoughts of more in the future? prototype?
