Prayers and sympathy to you & your family and all who love her. I wish they'd all go quietly and peacefully at home in their sleep but, the reality is most often, we have to make "the decision" and although it may not feel like it, doing so is really the final kindness we can give them.

I'm so sorry....sometimes the best thing we can do for our dogs is to replace their pain with our own.

This place needs an unlike button for times like this.

I'm so sorry for you and your family. This is the hardest thing about having dogs, they just don't live long enough.

You really gotta be careful about how high a pedestal you put your method, your accomplishments, your dog on. There's usually someone who's done more, somewhere. And they may have used a different method than you did! Chris Atkinson 2013

It's tough to let them go.
This is a place that understands your pain.

Prayers sent to you and your family.

Just remember the good times, and know you showed the greatest respect with your decision.

Very sorry. You both have created a special bond. A bond that will last forever. Give her the eye contact that she needs and rely on the memories afterwards.
