Thank you everyone for your thoughts and condolences. As much as it hurts, it helps to know that there are others that truly understand how my heart is aching right now.

I really do appreciate your posts...it has meant a lot to me.

Vicky, I've been travelling a ton lately and have gotten behind on some things. This is something I just learned today.

My deepest condolences to you, Will and the rest of your family.

    Sincerely, Chris

They are never with us long enough, they take a piece of our heart with them when they leave but we always know that at some point in time we will be joined with them again and our hearts will blend with theirs and we will both be whole again. Grace is no longer in pain and God just needed another wonderful dog by his side.

Hug from Montana peace be with you during this difficult time.

Sorry for your loss. We never have them long enough. What a beautiful dog she was.

Vicky, I'm trying to catch up on the RTF board after lots of work and travel lately and just saw this. I'm so very sorry to hear of Grace's loss. She loved and was loved - and what more could a dog want in life? I hope the collective sympathy and condolences from this group continue to give you some solace in knowing you're not walking this path alone.
