Thanks so much everybody. It seems that my co-workers always come to me with their dog questions. Except one lady that has a labradoodle (she did not like what I had to say about the "breed"). If anyone has any breeder recommendations, please let me know. You can pm me with any negative info you have about specific breeders.

    Thanks again

The labradoodles I've met seemed like nice mutts. As long as they're not breeding them and like what they've got, what's the difference?

She bred him. Tried to sell me a puppy, using the hypoallergenic claims

I'm getting a Red Female female this month, I have two to chose from and there being shipped in from Siberia (Breeder: Ginga House) and picking her up at a breeder in NY (NY Dobermans) I believe there are some Black/Tans available from another litter they have. These are the "European Bloodline Dobermans" and the parents have all there clearances. Check there sites.

Here you go on the MinPin rants again... You get it from a breeder on Mercer Island?

We have a Dobbie in the family and we also have a Giant Schnauzer in the family. Both are intact males. The Dobbie is a lovely boy but much of the guarding spunk has been bred out of him. Now, the Giant Schnauzer is all business and welded together but can still be a really charming playful dog.

When my dogs are around these guys I worry much more about the Schnauzer. The Dobbie has a very mild easy going temperament whereas the Schnauzer seems always to be on the edge of a knife.

Dobermans have very high rates of cancer so be aware.
