I sort of think my dog's crooked sit is partly due to the dog wanting to sit quickly. Toot, toot-nick worked great to get rid of the loopy sit, but now she plunks her butt down before she turns around and looks at me over her shoulder.

Evan, the video link doesn't work---it wants a login.
Yep, she sounds like she's nervous and doesn't necessarily understand the need to turn around. Something to work through. You might want to try easing up on the pressure if you can and twirl a bumper to bring her attention to you.

I don't do much "forcing" of a dog. I will re-enforce with the e-collar or other form of discomfort, but rarely, if ever, do I actually "force" the animal to do anything. It's a fundamental belief of mine that they have to understand what's expected before you re-enforce with discomfort.

Thanks, all that replied to my original posts with some great advice and visual aids. I think I have some good tools to correct a problem I allowed to evolve. I'll start tonight and let you know how it goes in a week or two.

Sorry. For some reason it loaded as "private". I'm reloading it now as "public".

Sorry to bother you Evan but video is still listed as private. Do we need a different link for the public version?

    This one should be public.

My dog thinks that the DarrinGreene/Chris Akin/Skinny trick(s) makes for pretty fun games! Awesome it will be if these fun sessions make for better blinds.

If it ever warms up again, I'm going to try something similar on water.

    Thanks!
