She is having a hard time standing, doesn't eat and is constantly panting. I'll see what the vet has to say first.
I am so sorry to hear this. Praying for all involved.

Franco, I'm sorry to hear about Too. It's really tough to lose them. Have you considered giving your girl her own thread on the main board? A lot of folks there should know... Hang in there...

Thank Bill. I don't know why I said anything here on POTUS about her as I tend to keep this type of thing to myself. We all lose dogs we love, this one was the one of the hardest because we did so much hunting together. Having lost my FT dog a year and a half go to Torsion, it was not nearly as difficult as losing one that has lived with me her entire life. One that has sat in a duck blind with me in freezing weather or when the mosquitos were so bad you could hardly breath, she was tough. She was an easy going dog that knew how to turn it off in the blind waiting on birds but was very persistent in finding downed birds.
It's such a shame that in the USA, defending Liberty has become such a heroic deed.

That hurts just reading it. You can never replace a dog like her. You may get another good one... And if you do, you are a lucky man. But dogs like Too are few and far between. (Speaking as an extremely avid duck hunter who has spent many days next to a wet dog in boats and blinds)

Because we all understand no matter what our political differences. We are here because we love our dogs!
