Default Entry Express not following stated closing time

On a hunt test I am entered in on the 27th of this month I have seen the number of entries increase by 9 dogs after the closing time. I suppose some of those are mail ins perhaps, but actually the closing time came and went with entry express still indicating "enter event" rather than "closed". Is this worth questioning with the event secretary?

Does it affect you in anyway? Will there be less of a chance to get a ribbon? Who the heck cares! David addressed this in a thread a few weeks ago , look it up

If the field is not full, I have taken them on the day of the event and just put them on the end. No competition here, why not?

You must be talking about HRC hunt not AKC. No entries after the close date.
As far a EE adding dogs after close, I think is it due to mail ins that might be postmarked the close day and EE gets them on the morning after close or could have just been an oversite.

I think she must be, I thought it was a legite question from a new comer to HT's. Evidently not. I also don't know who David is to look it up and really do not care who he is.

EE is just a facilitator. The chairman and the committee make all the dissension and AKC just want to know how many entered and how many run.

I have never had a problem, but I guess, if there was a formal written compliant to AKC there might be a question. I think more the marryer, don't you?

Page 10 of the Retriever Hunt Test rule book states no entries shall be accepted after the date of closing listed on the premium.

    Pretty straight forward.

Nope not in a bad mood , just amazed at what people get upset over. Hunt test...no placements, no win or lose, who cares if a few dogs show up after the close....here is what could be the answer......http://www.retrievertraining.net/for...=entry+express David , I believe, owns EE, so you may want to know who he is.
Yes , Happy you are correct, it is the rule...
