Pretty crazy. You sure don't hear that very often. Must have been living around humans for quite a while to lose their fear of people. The one's around here scat at the least sight of a human.

I agree with you. The coyotes around our small town come in the day time to eat pears under an old pear tree. One walked in front of our big window in the front room....our sitting there in front of it did not bother him. I think they come into town to eat cat and dog food left out for pets. They think we are feeding them which is not good. I'm thinking that almost everyone here has read about the lady in CO who was raising rabbits and tossing them to the coyotes. One coyote jumped up and grabbed her arm one day..............wild animals have lost their fear of man because hunting has stopped completely in some areas. And there is the fox who comes into town at the noon hour ( Bartlesville OK) to be fed ( sometimes he is in a large office building parking lot waiting for people to feed him ). So far he does not take food from hands but he gets very close. Feeding wild animals seems like fun but it really is not a good idea. They lose their fear of man and make easy targets or they decide they can rule the stupid human who feeds them.

On another note people started feeding the Canada geese in and around around Bartlesville. They are protected of course so they did what came naturally and there are huge numbers of them now. They are are a big problem but no one dares to do anything to them. No shooting inside of city limits of course. One retarded man took a few of the geese eggs from a nest and he was arrested and fined.
