    Default Bitch question?

Is it common or normal or okay or BAD for a bitch to still be bleeding on her 3 week of her cycle

Just had one FINALLY go out...she POURED for 3 weeks...about the time I really started to worry she dried up. Thank god she's a kennel dog and not an inside dog...

3-4 weeks is normal. After that time if still bleeding I would be suspicious of a problem.

If you think dealing w/ heat cycles are bad, just wait til you breed her...

I buy and recommend throw away painter's drop sheets for any carpeted flooring. Just took inventory as I have not 1, but 2 recently bred (my first to deal w/ 2 litters at once).
I had one "mom" that discharged grossly for *5* wks and there wasn't anything wrong w/ her. She just had a very healthy puppy environment inside, apparently!
