    Just one blind though.
Whoops, that was my bad. I almost never run a single blind, so I just automatically said blinds instead of blind.

I guess you and I are about on the same page, I don't often run the blind first before marks when the machines are set up, but I'll do it sometimes.

You really gotta be careful about how high a pedestal you put your method, your accomplishments, your dog on. There's usually someone who's done more, somewhere. And they may have used a different method than you did! Chris Atkinson 2013

Howard I ran two blinds this morning.
    I seldom run just one.
My comment about one blind referred to an actual test I encountered where the blind was first.

I forget who told me to run multiple blinds. Maybe you.

So Howard should you always link a blind with a mark to give the dog a challenge? And only do several blinds in a row with no marks if it is a drill?

    Thanks both for interesting discussion!

Gooser, I don't think you will have a problem. The walk up go bird is most likely a flier
with multiple real gun shots. He will turn and look. Sometimes
you get a warning sound with a squawking hen.
