I can't disagree with you, Henlee, on how the R primary could play out. However, I really hope it is NOT Christie who is left standing in the end. I don't think he is as conservative as he appears, and he still seems to believe the Ds will play nice, and that would be very naive of him.
As for Hillary, you could be correct that voters have a short memory ... but the content of her character hasn't changed that I can see, and those injured by her complicity in corruption will not forget. Benghazi and her total lack of concern for what her actions resulted in should never be forgotten. I fully believe she would sacrifice any life that got in her way. And I'm sure Obama would send the IRS to her aid if he can, along with anything Holder and the DOJ can do to help her out.
Of all the things I might disagree with in the policies of Hillary or Obama, the most troubling to me is what they let happen in Benghazi and then could lie about so much with such unflappability, even directly to the families of the victims. They demonstrated to me that they would lie to get what they want. I can't find a way to trust someone that brazen in lying to be a good leader for this country. How can any country's leader trust such a person? Neither allies nor enemies can trust them. Pretty hard to negotiate anything when nobody at all believes you. Our voters may forget, but I doubt that the leaders who have to deal with them will forget so easily.
