Default New info about Bill Spitzer

I received new info about Bill this morning.

    Gooser,
I talked to Bill yesterday morning. He has been moved from the hospital in Rapid City, SD to a special rehab hospital. The closest one that had a room, and the kind of services he needs, was in Billings, Montana. Got the address from his daughter this morning.

Im sure hed enjoy phone calls and cards as he rehabs. It sounds like he will be there for a while, but from both he and his daughter, I got an earliest hoped-for date of being able to get home of Thanksgiving. That would be a mighty fine Thanksgiving for him and family if that comes to pass.

    Advanced Care Hospital of Montana
    Bill Spitzer, Room 303
    3528 Gabel Rd
    Billings, MT 59102.

The hospital phone # is 406-373-8000 and he can get calls in his room. And he has his cell phone for people that have that #.

Great to hear Bill is coming along well. I always remember the time we had at Polock's shin dig up in New York. He and the swishy one were the judges.....

I'm on the phone with Bill as I type.

He's telling me a great story about Bull running a sidehill blind.

He sounds great. His voice is strong. He is as spunky and spirited as ever.

This has really made my day.

Thank you Gooser for letting us know.

Miss Miriam Wade contacted me privately and asked for information about Bill.
She said her computer has died ,

I responded to the private message, because that is the only avenue she gave me. I dont know if she will be able to get to another computer to check or not.

If any of you that know her, or have the ability to call her, would you let her know the information she requested from me is in her RTF private message IN BOX.

    Thanks

Her and Bill have a very special bond.. Bill helped her out greatly when she had her car accident, and took her dog Kate and cared for her..

Gooser, Thanks for posting this info - many of us on this forum feel a bond for UB because of who he is & what he stands for. I will be dropping him a line & visiting him in person when I return to SD for my 65th class reunion.

I finally got the chance to speak with Bill yesterday..

He sounds really good. He talked a LOT about how impressed he is with his doctor/
He said she is from Transylvania!

They are going to run tests today to see about nerve damage along the sciatic nerve in his leg..

His spirits were really quite good. Immediately started to mess with Gooser over the phone about wearin white while trainin dogs!
A Lot of fun to talk about old times, HRC hunt tests, How when he Judged ,His mission was to see how fast he could fold my sheet!!!
He said to thank everyone for the well wishes and cards and phone calls.

    Look out!!! Hes gettin better!!!
